Recently Xioami has launched three new devices of Note lineup in Redmi series that is, Redmi note 10, Redmi note 10 pro and Redmi note 10 pro max. These phones are going to target the midrange segment in india. 

The Redmi Note 10 pro will be the  most anticipated device of the lineup because it is priced around 16k. 

COLOURS & STORAGE VARIANTS:

The device comes in three different variants. Its base model, which comes with 6gb ram and 128gb storage is priced at 15,999. Then its second variant which comes with 6gb ram and 128 gb storage is priced at 16,999 and then comes the third variant which comes with 8gb ram and 256 gb of storage, it is priced at 19,999. 

The device comes in 3 different colours, that is Dark Knight (Bkack), Vintage Bronze, Surf Blue and Nebula Purple. 

So let's now starting of with its specs and at the end i would be giving my opinion on this device. 

DISPLAY:

The Redmi Note 10 Pro comes with a 6.67 inches (16.94 cm) Super Amoled display. The display itself is made by samsung. The display also offers a 120hz refresh rate and 240hz touch sampling rate. The device offers a resolution of 1080x2400 Pixels and a pixel density of 395 ppi. The display gets a gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. We get a peak brightness of 1200 nits in this phone, when used under bright surroundings with auto brightness mode. The display is also HDR 10 plus certified, which enables us to watch amazing videos and movies at a greater quality, but this feature will work only on videos which are HDR.

So yes the device offers a great display considering its price range. But i have noticed some issues while using this device since i am using this device for a while and i noticed that the colours are not as punchy as we see in samsung phones maybe Redmi has opted for a different colour tone for it's display in this phone. And the other issue that i noticed is that when ever sometimes a grey colour comes on the screen, then there i can see 2 broad white lines running from top to bottom. 

PERFORMANCE:

Now comes performance part of this phone, the Redmi note 10 pro is Powered by Snapdragon 732G processor. This is 2.3ghz octa core processor,its 2 cores are based on kryo 470 architecture which are clocked at 2.3Ghz and other 6 cores are also based on kryo 470 which are clocked at 1.6Ghz. It is a decent processor which can easily give good performance in day to day life.  This processor has an architecture of 64 bit and based on 8nm fabrication processor, which could help in saving more power. Also, this device gets a Adreno 618 GPU which offers a good gaming performance. 

As seeing the competition,this device goes head to head with every phone at this price range in terms of performance! But playing games for very long then this device could heat up. As i noticed while playing games on this device.

CAMERA:

Now let's talk about the camera department of the redmi note 10 pro, this device comes with a quad camera setup, It gets a 64 megapixel main camera,which is a samsung sensor , 8 megapixel ultra wide camera, 2 megapixel depth camera and it also gets a 5 megapixel telemacro camera which clicks real good macro shots. 

I have used redmi note 10 pro cameras, and yes it's 5 megapixel telemacro camera which captures real good macro shots, here below is a sample,

Now comes the part where this phone disappointed me is its selfie camera and its ultra-wide camera. It's ultra wide camera could have been better, they could have given 12megapixel ultra wide camera instead of 8 megapixel. Now, talking about the selfie camera they have given 16 megapixel selfie camera but the performance of the camera is not quite good. It captures good Selfies in daylight but when it comes to low light its quality diminishes out. 

While its main camera is quite good they have provided the samsung sensor here, which captures a bit contrasty pictures whereas it's redmi note 10 pro max captures natural pictures but it's totally depend on your choice that which kind of photo's you would prefer. 

DESIGN :

This comes with glass front, glass back and plastic frame design. The protection on its back glass is unknown but yes we do get a glass back panel and it's side are made up of plastic. This device is sleek in design. It's height is 164.5mm, width is 76.1mm and It's thickness is 8.1mm (considering a massive battery). The phone weighs around 192 grams. 

This device gets IP53 certification which makes this device Dust Proof and splash proof. 

BATTERY:

This device gets a 5020 Mah Lithium Polymer battery. Which could give battery backup of upto one day upon medium to heavy usage. This battery gets the support of 33 watts fast charging. The company claims it could be fully charged in 70 mins whereas upon my checking i found out that this device takes nearly 80 to 90 mins to be full charged. Yes, the device gets the support of usb type c! 

NETWORK & OTHER FEATURES:

This device supports 4g, not 5g. We get dual 4g and dual volte support on this device. This device comes with Bluetooth 5.0, GPS a glonass support but we do not get nfc support on this device. 

As being a Xiaomi phone this device comes with ir blaster , which is very helpful in day by day usage. It gets a finger print sensor on it's right side. And it also comes with all basic sensors such as accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, light sensor and proximity sensor. 

MY OPINION:

This is an excellent device considering its price and features but it's major drawbacks is its MIUI, its poor software optimization, poor updates and poor software support. These things ruin everything otherwise it would be a great phone with no problem.
