OnePlus 10 Pro Goes official in India
So, Today oneplus launched it's newbie Oneplus 10 Pro. This is a beautiful flagship device from OnePlus. This device weighs around 200 grams which is neither too hefty nor too light. The company has launched this device in two colors namely, Emerald forest and volcanic black. The Emerald forest is a kind of refreshing colour which we generally do not see in smartphones.
Recently oneplus also came up with a white extreme edition which is the new panda white colour. And it will be amazing if they would be launching it in India too.
OnePlus 10 Pro Display
the OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch LTPO fluid AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display allows the OnePlus 10 Pro to automatically adjust its refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The device gets the protection of gorilla glass. And the device itself cimes with a resolution of 1440x3216 pixels and with 526ppi density.
OnePlus 10 Pro Performance and Charging
Oneplus 10 pro is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor that is, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Soc, the device comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The phone comes with a decent 5,000mAh battery that comes with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology support.
This device will upgrade to 5,000mAh battery in the OnePlus 10 series smartphones. It might be different in both the variants. The phone gets 80W fast charger in the box. This device supports wireless charging at 5p watts and also it does comes with reverse wireless charging support.
OnePlus 10 Pro Camera Setup
The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup that has a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX789 shooter, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter from Samsung, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. As previous year, this year’s camera system of this device has been developed in partnership with the Swedish camera maker Hassleblade. If we talk about its front side then the device comes with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front selfie camera. This how oneplus has performed in the cameras department is worth to see because last year when they partnered with Hassleblade, there was not a bit change in the camera department because the cameras in oneplus phones are not that impressive but as of now they merged with oppo and also they have partnership with Hassleblade, it would worth to see that how did they perform now.
OnePlus 10 Pro Connectivity
If we will talk of connectivity of the OnePlus 10 Pro, it comes with Bluetooth v5.2 support, Wi-Fi, NFC, a USB Type-C Port, and more.
OnePlus 10 Pro Software
The OnePlus 10 pro has been launched with Android 12, which comes with ColorOS 12.1 but The company has clarified that OnePlus 10 Pro will come with OxygenOS 12 in India upon its india launch.
The OnePlus 10 Pro which runs ColorOS (the version hitting international markets, in some places the device would be coming with oxygen os), the whole phone gives the feeling of an OPPO device, except in the camera app, there are still some OnePlus feel, such as the Hassleblade look orange shutter button, which was introduced with the OnePlus 9 series.
the OnePlus camera is the best organised and proper camera app in todays time, specially in the Android market today because it is less crowded and complicated like Vivo’s camera application, and we can operate it easily with one hand unlike any other brand. I always feel that the OnePlus’s camera app has always gives a smooth, almost iPhone-like zoom experience which we can see in oneplus 10 Pro. When we drag the zoom dial up and down rapidly to zoom in and out, the camera viewfinder keeps up and switches between lenses in a manner that is almost as smooth as the iPhone’s zoom dial. This is a very far away thing for brands like Xiaomi or Samsung phones, where there’s a not a pleasy or a handy experience everytime I zoom out to the ultra-wide lens. The smoothness and speed of the shutter speed is very pleasing, as I find the OnePlus 10 Pro’s shutter response is faster than the Galaxy S21 Ultra or Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, because both tends to lag during the shutter time.
OnePlus's ex co-founder Pete Lau told in a media briefing that the phone will come with a completely different software, not as earlier oneplus phones, the software will be formed from a combination of OnePlus's existing Oxygen OS and its brother brand Oppo's ColorOS. Pete Lau also told that the operating system will take the "fast and smooth" and "clean and lightweight" elements of OnePlus' OxygenOS and the "reliable" and "feature-rich" parts of Oppo's ColorOS to give users a great experience of their newly OnePlus devices.
In my opinion oneplus always comes with great phones, great in terms of experience, display and performance. But they just need improve a bit in camera department. And, as now they merged with oppo, which is a brand known for camera, it would be intresting to see how they perform in camera department.
